CONFERENCE OF PRESS

HELD BY PROF. ROGER ARMAND MAKANY FOR THE RELEASE OF INTERNATIONAL QUALITY AWARD OFFORED TO ESGAE IN GENEVA BY THE INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF BUSINESS INITIATIVE DIRECTIONS (BID).

The content of the conference of press

Mister the president of la Fédération Africaine des Parents d’élèves Et Etudiants(FAPE). Ladies and Gentlemen, dear representatives of national and international Media Distinguished guests

The press conference that units us today in the heart of ESGAE conference room is a result of the great even happened these past few days in Geneva at Swiss. 58 countries, from diffident parts the world participated to that conference, and so the Congo Republic for the purpose of awarding enterprises involved in Quality Practices. ESGAE is the only school of the Republic of Congo to be nominated for “International Star Award for Quality”. The drive culture for quality practices, over fifteen years, has become a real concern for all enterprises willing to reach good performance and be competitive all over the world. The normative approach for quality has been ever since privileged that is to say quality by the respect of measurable norms. This means that total quality would be evaluated on the scale of 10/10 and the non quality on the scale of 0/10.when you have 4/10, less than the average you are not practicing the quality. Above 5/10 then you are practicing the quality. This was measured on the basis of the questionnaire. However, we realize that a number or figure cannot explain all as the quality goes beyond. It gathers a multitude of variables which are not always measurable but which could be appreciated. The quality is in fact a complex notion. The approach in terms of culture of the quality is globalized and can be applied to all domains: education, health, industry, politique, labour, business, sports… The International Organization Business Initiative Directions endeavors to implement a model the total quality with 7 major principles oriented essential towards the respect and customer knowledge and satisfaction.

Dear friends, Academic year 2012-2013 is a year of twentieth (20) anniversary of ESGAE we are willing to celebrate this anniversary. Many of you of the press have been eyewitness of the ESGAE race. Some joined us on going race. But there is a person since 1993 who has been faithfully witnessed ESGAE race and he is at the same time the first sponsor of ESGAE which means that he trusted the newborn child in 1993.I willingly mean to have him come to the release of the trophy from a far northern country, swiss, a country of ILO, WHO, IRCC of UN in Europe. It is Mr.ITOUA, the president of FAPE, APEEC, and of the CARESCO. Thank you Mister President and I am honored to present to you this trophy Golden Award in so doing I am thinking of all the students parents of Congo republic and of Africa that you are representing here with courage and abnegation and determination. Thank you to parents of former and new students for the trust and your attachment to ESGAE.

Ladies and gentlemen We will have an opportunity in 2013, to draw the balance sheet of this race and to recall several issues thanks to the press memory and archives. But we are meaning to respond in advance and in some measure to the question hanging on your lips: How did ESGAE manage to get that trophy Golden Award for Quality so far from Geneva? A saying says: “no-one is a wizard at home” which means that the recognition of comes from a far place. For ESGAE this proverb is not applicable.ESGAE has been nominated by national authorities and dignitaries. We can quote the prize of the Leading Business School in Congo, African Network Prize by Daily Journalists and Media Consumers, ESAGE the only school awarded in Ordre du Merite Universitaire by HE president of Congo Republic.the higher decuation ministry in our country considers ESGAE as something to crow about.

At the international level ESGAE is a successful candidate for different type of assessment (pedagogic, gouvernance, infrastructures…,) to gain partnership with:

  • membre de l’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie(AUF),
  • EDUNIVERSAL in top 1,000 Best Schools and Universities since 2008;
  • member of Conference of East European Management (CEEMAN).
    • We shall not be surprised to earn additionally a golden award for quality handed by Business Initiative Directions that appraises worldwide enterprises for quality and offers them ISAQ prize “International Star Award For Quality”. The ceremony venue is the intercontinental in Geneva, October 30th 2012.

      The prize is composed of: a trophy, a quality certificate, a commitment to pursue in the road involved in the culture of quality.

      There is something in common between Swiss and ESGAE the cleaning environment. It is a crucial element for the culture of the quality attached to the life at workplace. ESAGAE assets are consolidated on the daily basis thanks to the sustainable trust earned from student parents over the years because of the school rigorous values and efficiency in the organization and functioning of the school, the ongoing modernization of the infrastructures, of partnership with enterprise and the determination of ESGAE to going global.

      The culture of the quality is also the fact of allowing every student to withdraw his or her grade report, immediately after his or her admission to the final examination, as well as qualification certificate. The concerned student is free to taken on mobility or take a registration at ESGAE. Mister the president of la Fédération Africaine des Parents d’élèves Et Etudiants(FAPE). Ladies and Gentlemen, dear representatives of national and international Media

      Distinguished guests At Geneva, ESGAE had represented in the education sector Congo Republic. The experience gained notably in national and also international confirms its ranking position in 1,000 Best Schools and Universities all over the world. Several ESGAE graduates proven their ability to integrate foreign education system abroad (Europe, Africa…).Consequently world organization such BID follows the credibility race of ESGAE in terms of culture for quality, innovation and excellence as required in the globalization of education. Since 26 years, Business Initiative Directions (BID) acknowledges the expertise of enterprises that distinguished themselves throughout the world in promoting the culture for quality: innovation, products and services, excellence and leadership. For this purpose BID organizes 7 annual conventions as the enterprises in the world are too many to count them: there are those existing, those lasting and those in a founding stage. ESGAE is definitely eligible to these 7 convetions: Geneva, Frankfurt, New-York, Paris, Geneva and London. ESGAE is involved in taking the challenge for being a guidance compass for our education system and proposes itself to contribute the building of Congo as an emerging country: let us not be spectators but actors.
